Gansta L

Laurie dresses "up(?)" gansta. Another outcome of our messing around in the closet (see prior post).

Shane's Angels (as in Charlie's...)

Laurie and I were doing a little dress-up (originally, I was returning pre-pregnancy clothes to my closet and we got a bit side-tracked...). We realized that, with Laurie's height, her and my curves back-to-back fit right into eachother. Call Shane if you need us to take care of some business...

My Family and Me

Quintessential Teenager

Bath- and Play-time

Bathtime: This photo makes me laugh as Ander's position is the same as his dad's (on knees, arm extended) and they are looking at the same thing to their left.

During playtime, Shane balanced a clear CD on Ander's nose and got some photos of the rainbow effect. It was funny in itself to see Ander lying there with the CD on his nose for all the photos.

Laurie Turns 15

Laurie turned 15 on May 2nd. She received flowers at school from her folks in Colorado along with many presents from loved ones and relatives. We celebrated with a sushi dinner, per request, and followed it with chocolate cake with chocolate icing.

Here's a photo of her beautiful smile while sitting near the kitchen window.

Ready to Jump

Since Ander is spending so much time standing up these days, we decided to give our arms a rest and bought a Johnny Jump-Up for the doorjamb between the kitchen and livingroom. It swallows him up and the rim is just the right height for serving as a teether.

Two Gr-Aunties

Great Aunties Becky and Hazel came to visit and meet the newest family member. We spent two days chatting, taking turns holding Ander (parents were only allowed to hold him for feeding and when crying), and playing with Laurie.

Here, Laurie gives Gr-Auntie Hazel a backrub. Payment for many games of cards they played.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Dawson

Grandma and Grandpa came up for a surprise visit in mid-April. They had dropped off a crystal to be cut and polished when they were up for Ander's birth. It's completion was the perfect excuse to come up and check in on us.
